Do banks or HMRC still know my address?

Competent authorities may still request a residential address in verification procedures. The service limits public publication on Companies House; it is not concealment from the authorities.

I have more than one director — do we need an address per person?

Each director chooses their service address. Directors can share the same service address if that is appropriate and covered by the subscription.

Does it hide my shares as a PSC?

Persons with Significant Control (PSC) rules are separate. We explain what is displayed when preparing your file; do not assume the service address covers every disclosure.

Does it replace the registered office?

No. The company’s registered office is mandatory and separate. Many non-residents need both.

When should I activate it?

After formation: taxes and annual filings

After incorporation your company must register for Corporation Tax with HMRC and obtain its UTR within three months of trading — we handle this from £75. If your taxable turnover crosses the registration threshold, or you need a VAT number for suppliers and payment gateways, we register VAT from £75, and set up PAYE payroll if you employ yourself or staff.

Every year the company files a confirmation statement (CS01) and annual accounts with Companies House — even dormant companies must file dormant accounts (from £60).
